Trade Minister Alaa al-Jubouri confirmed that the joint meeting with the Iranian side will identify obstacles to removing them in front of investment, indicating that the new global economy emphasizes regional cooperation and regional integration in the economy.
Trade Minister Alaa al-Jubouri said during the meeting attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A large number will attend today in Tehran, to represent the features and tools of the Iraqi economy, both governmental and private, so today we are here to indicate what obstacles the two governments can work on to remove them. And dilute them in the investment environment. "
He added, "This session came in exceptional circumstances in which the global economy lives, not just the Iraqi economy, as the Corona pandemic, low oil prices and the stopping of movement, as well as the suspension of some industries such as alternative energies, in addition to the fact that there is a challenge in the region in general, as a result of its dependence on Oil as a resource, even those countries that have gone largely over reliance on non-oil, and have relied in part on oil. "
