Major General Rasoul added, "The operations that were carried out were directed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, with an emphasis on the intelligence effort," stressing that "all terrorist elements must be hit, as well as focusing on the terrorist heads of these gangs."
He explained that "the operation that was carried out in the Abu Ghraib area, west of Baghdad, was a delicate operation, which also comes within the operations of the martyrs revenge of Al-Tayaran Square and the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the so-called Wali of the South was killed, and also responsible for transporting suicide bombers who carried out the cowardly terrorist act in Tayaran Square."

International coordination
Major General Rasoul added that the Ministry of Defense visited the Republic of Egypt and viewed the military system of the Egyptian army, noting that "today it is very important that there be coordination between the Iraqi, Jordanian and Egyptian armed forces."
And he indicated that "this coordination is in the interest of these countries, because it is possible that there is a danger towards any of these countries."
Exchange of information
And he added, "The intelligence services possess valuable information about terrorist elements, not only at the level of neighbors, and they may be regional and towards many countries."
He pointed out that "today, the exchange of information between all these intelligence agencies is very important to prevent any terrorist act, either towards Iraq or towards brotherly countries and the world."

The spokesman for the Commander in Chief added that the issue of uncovering the killers of Hisham Al-Hashemi and the demonstrators is at the intelligence services, noting that "there is an effort being made by the intelligence services on this issue."
