Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nadhim confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Supreme Committee for Health and Safety will take strict decisions and measures regarding Corona developments next Saturday.
Nadhim said at the weekly cabinet conference attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi expressed his great concern about the developments of the Corona pandemic, pointing out that Minister of Health Hassan Al-Tamimi indicated to the Council of Ministers that we are entering a difficult situation in Iraq and measures must be taken. Necessary. "
He added, "Citizens are all responsible for facing the Corona pandemic by taking the necessary measures," noting that "strict decisions and measures will be taken by the Supreme Committee regarding Corona developments next Saturday."
He pointed out that "the government received the 2021 budget with amendments from the Parliamentary Finance Committee," explaining that "the Council of Ministers formed a committee to study amendments to the budget within two days."
He pointed out that "there is work to complete the second part of the white paper related to projects," noting that "the cabinet voted to approve the government's plan for the reform program."
He indicated that "the white paper is a pure Iraqi effort," noting that "there is joint study and work with the World Bank on the level of loans and consultations."
