PFC: The region's share still suspended

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed today, Sunday, that the governments of the center and the region are in agreement about what was mentioned in the draft budget bill, while indicating that the region’s share has not been decided within the House of Representatives.
A member of the committee, Jamal Cougar, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The governments of Baghdad and Erbil are in agreement with what was stated in the draft federal budget bill and are going towards resolving it, but the problem lies in Parliament."
He added, "The region's share is still pending and has not yet been decided by the political blocs in Parliament," noting that "the objecting blocs did not come up with an alternative text to the agreement between the region and the center, so there is no agreement yet."
