The Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of the main financier of ISIS in Khanaqin.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "a qualitative intelligence operation was carried out according to accurate intelligence information and in coordination with the Intelligence department of the Diyala Operations Command. The Military Intelligence Division detachments in the Fifth Division and a force from the Fourth Regiment, managed to arrest the main financier. ISIS is in the Tabaj sector, the village of Albu Farraj in Khanaqin, Diyala, and sums of money in its possession were seized in one dinar, a dollar, a machinegun and a spear. "
He added, "The terrorist is among those wanted by the judiciary under an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism.
