Today, Friday, the Ministry of Communications announced the transfer of the implementation of the international access portals project to Nokia International, pointing out that "the project is a fundamental pillar in preserving the country's security and sovereignty and completely eliminating smuggling operations."

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the ministry said, “Under the supervision and follow-up of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhmi, the ministry referred the implementation of the international access gates project to Nokia (NOKIA), one of the largest international companies specialized in the field of communications, after a long wait for this project, about three. She added, "The central committee in the ministry met under the chairmanship of the Minister of Communications, Arkan Shihab Ahmed Al-Shaibani, and the Bid Analysis Committee over the past three days, in order to complete the referral of this national project for the purpose of direct implementation by Nokia."
