Merkel: We will work to revive the negotiations on the Iran nuclear deal

German Chancellor Angela Merkel confirmed today, Friday, that her country will work to revive negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal, adding that she spoke with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani a few days ago. She also said that she supported "the new momentum in talks with Iran."
Merkel had told Rouhani, last Wednesday, that Iran should send positive messages to increase the chances of returning to the 2015 nuclear agreement and ending the confrontation with Western powers.
