The deputy for the Kurdish forces, Hoshyar Abdullah, confirmed today, Thursday, that the constitution is the decisive factor in resolving the outstanding problems with Baghdad, while indicating the possibility of resolving the region's share in the budget before voting on it.
Abdullah said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The budget is a government vision for the financial administration and the Kurdish representatives so far with the government text," indicating that "discussions with Baghdad are still continuing regarding the 250,000 barrels, as well as the region's total imports."
He added, "We are with any constitutional proposals to solve the problem, especially with regard to the region’s participation in maximizing the federal power revenues."
