Judiciary: Issuing twice sentenced to death against a woman killed her two children

The Karkh Criminal Court at the Presidency of the Baghdad Al-Karkh Federal Court of Appeal issued today, Thursday, two death sentences by hanging to death for a woman who killed her two children after throwing them into the Tigris River.
The Media Center of the Judicial Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the first body of the Al-Karkh Criminal Court examined the case of a convict who murdered her children, the first of whom was 3 years old and the second two years old after deliberately throwing them into the Tigris River."
He added, "The two judgments against the conviction come in accordance with the provisions of Article 406/1 / A of the Iraqi Penal Code."
