Iraq announces registrations of injuries in the new COVID strain

Minister of Health and Environment Hassan Al-Tamimi warned of the emergence of the new strain of Corona virus, calling on citizens to take extreme care and caution.
"The new pandemic can affect children as several cases have been recorded," said Al-Tamimi in a press conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), calling on citizens to "adhere to all preventive measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic,”
He stressed that "the Ministry of Health provided all the capabilities to fight the pandemic," noting that "the health teams will go to the street, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, and release a fine of 25 thousand dinars on health care violators"
"Lockdown will be healthy, and the commitment of quarantine will reduce the injuries," he noted.
Al-Tamimi said that the ministry has coordinated with the Pharmacists Syndicate to monitor the prices of masks.
