Iraq and Egypt sign 15 memoranda of understanding and cooperation program

Today, Saturday, Iraq signed fifteen memoranda of understanding and a program of cooperation with Egypt, in various fields, in an official ceremony that took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhmi, and the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Iraq signed fifteen memoranda of understanding and a program of cooperation with Egypt in various fields, in an official ceremony that took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhmi, and the Egyptian Prime Minister. Mustafa Madbouly, who signed the report of the Iraqi-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee.

The statement added, "The official ceremony included the signing of several memoranda of understanding, cooperation programs and protocols in the fields of transport, water resources, health, environment, justice, investment, housing, construction, industry, trade and finance."

The statement indicated that "the Iraqi Minister of Justice, Salar Abdul Sattar, and the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation, training and exchange of experiences in the field of justice and the judiciary."
