Ministry of Health and Environment announced the 3757 new cases of COVID-19 and 3722 cases had been recovered .
The ministry, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), included that the 3757 new cases were distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 402, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 343, Medical City 93, Najaf 272, Sulaymaniyah 179, Erbil 169, Dohuk 243, Karbala 251, Kirkuk 126, Diyala 128, Wasit 143, Basra 319, Maysan 71, Babel 146, Diwaniyah 202, Dhi Qar 211, Anbar 55, Muthanna 142, Nineveh 109 and Saladin 153.
The statement added, "3722 recovered cases have been distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 476, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 436, Medical City 91, Najaf al-Ashraf 168, Sulaymaniyah 115, Erbil 255, Karbala 328, Kirkuk 233, Diyala 67, Wasit 56, Basra 406, Maysan 92, Babel 142, Diwaniyah 129, Dhi Qar 195, Anbar 44, Muthanna 167, Nineveh 315, Saladin 7.
Death cases reached 83, distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 6, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 1, Medical City 6, Najaf 3, Sulaymaniyah 13, Erbil 9, Dohuk 3, Karbala 3, Kirkuk 6, Diyala 2, Wasit 4, Basra 8, Maysan 4, Babel 2, Diwaniyah 4, Dhi Qar 2, Muthanna 3, Nineveh 4.
The statement confirmed that 18,578 tests have been made in all specialized laboratories in Iraq today. The total number of samples tested since the beginning of the disease registration in Iraq amounted to 1605904, the total recovered cases amounted to 176602 as the recoveries rate reached 75.2%, and the total number of infected cases reached 234934, while the total number of cases under treatment is 51290 of whom 512 are in intensive care and the total death toll reached 7,042 deaths.
