Foreign Minister discusses with his Egyptian counterpart the bilateral relations between Iraq and Egypt

Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly discussed Today, Tuesday bilateral relations between Iraq and Egypt, while Madbouly stressed the need to activate memoranda of understanding between the two countries.
The media office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Tuesday: “Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly received Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein in his private office in Cairo,” indicating that “during the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, and at different levels. Levels, including the energy, health, reconstruction, transport and education sectors.
He added, "The Egyptian Prime Minister offered his condolences to the Iraqi people for the martyrdom of a number of citizens following the terrorist act that targeted the capital, Baghdad, and expressed Egypt's solidarity, government and people, with Iraq in its war against terrorism."
During the meeting, Madbouly referred to his visit to Baghdad, and the decisions agreed upon by the two sides, which would bring about qualitative growth in building practical cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Minister Fuad Hussein thanked the Prime Minister for the reception, carrying the greetings of the Iraqi leadership, and in particular Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, expressing gratitude for "the solidarity of the Egyptian government with the Iraqi people in their confrontation with terrorism."
Hussein also stressed the "depth of relations between the two brotherly countries."
