The ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and the permanent representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the League of Arab States, Muhammad Abu al-Khair, stressed the importance of continuing the frameworks of cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries.
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States Ahmed Nayef al-Dulaimi met with Ambassador Muhammad Abu al-Khair, the permanent representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the League of Arab States,” noting that “in At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Al-Dulaimi congratulated Ambassador Abu Al-Khair on his appointment as a permanent representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Arab League, after which he reviewed the historical fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
the statement added, "The Iraqi ambassador stressed the importance of continuing the frameworks of joint cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in light of the consensus of visions on the issues and challenges facing the Arab nation, pointing to the Republic of Iraq keenness to strengthen and develop mechanisms for joint Arab action and support the crucial issues facing the Arab nation."
For his part, Ambassador Muhammad Abu al-Khair praised “the depth of brotherly relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Iraq and the strength and strength they witness at all levels, reviewing ways to develop bilateral relations in a way that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly countries and peoples,” noting “the importance of joint coordination between the two countries towards Various Arab and regional issues.”
