The Advisor to the Prime Minister for Construction and Investment Affairs, Sabah dispersed, confirmed today, Thursday, the support of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, the file of removing violations in the Tigris River basin.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Ministry of Water Resources stated, "The Minister of Water Resources, Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, met in his office the Mayor of Baghdad, Alaa Maan, in the presence of the advisor to the prime minister for reconstruction and investment affairs. Sabah dispersed to discuss the ministry's campaign to eliminate abuses, especially in the Tigris River basin within the governorate of Baghdad.”
He added, "The meeting stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Water Resources and the Baghdad Municipality to eliminate these transgressions of all kinds."
The advisor to the prime minister affirmed, according to the statement, the prime minister's support for this file and the follow-up to direct all its details in order to restore the prestige of the state and impose the rule of law.
