PHC suggests the rise of Corona infections to 5,000 per day

Baghdad – INA

The Parliamentary Health Committee announced Today, Tuesday that the epidemiological situation is still under control, while it expected that Corona infections would exceed the 5,000 mark if the preventive measures were still not observed.

A member of the committee, Jawad Al-Mousawi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a noticeable increase in the number of Coronavirus infections, but until now the situation is controlled and under the capabilities of the Ministry of Health," indicating that "it does not portend a great danger."

Al-Mousawi expected, "The number of injuries exceeded 5,000 injuries in the coming days, in the event that citizens continue to fail and not take appropriate measures by the government, such as restricting the movement of citizens, especially in crowded places with dense population, malls and markets."

Al-Mousawi suggested that "new instructions will be issued during the next week to restrict the movement of citizens in some dangerous places, ruling out" imposing a partial ban because the numbers of injuries are under control.
