PDC recommends filling the gaps in the separating borders with the Peshmerga

Baghdad – INA

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee recommended today, Thursday, the importance of controlling borders and bridging the separations in the areas separating the federal forces and the Peshmerga.

A member of the committee, Deputy Badr Al-Ziyadi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that his committee submitted a report to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in which it made observations about the importance of controlling the borders between the federal forces and the Peshmerga and filling the gaps.

He added that "the recent bombing of Erbil airport is intended to create chaos," noting that "the Security Committee has no role in the investigative committee formed between the federal government and the Kurdistan region."
