Al-Ziyadi: PFC has an intention to reduce this year's budget to 100 trillion

Baghdad – INA

Badr Al-Ziyadi, the deputy from the Saairun Alliance, revealed that there is an intention to reduce the 2021 budget to 100 trillion.

Al-Ziyadi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "there is an intention to reduce the general budget for 2021 to 100 trillion, after it was reduced to 127 trillion by the Finance Committee after it was sent by the government to the size of 164 trillion."

He added that "reducing the total amount to 100 trillion would avoid Iraq from borrowing and debt," stressing the need to draw a financial policy to avoid the people's debt risks.

He explained that "the continuing rise in oil prices and reaching the $ 58 barrier will contribute to addressing the deficit," expecting a change in the budget items within the House of Representatives.
