The Advisor to the Prime Minister for Elections Affairs, Abdul-Hussein Al-Hindawi, revealed today, Friday, the government's measures to support the Electoral Commission, while affirming that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi pays personal attention to support the work of the Commission.

Al-Hindawi said in a statement to the news agency, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi pays a personal interest in supporting the Independent High Electoral Commission, and this support is embodied in several issues, including periodic reception of members of the Board of Commissioners and attending periodic meetings of the Commission’s Council and inviting them always to submit "He also played a key role in accelerating the financial allocations and extinguishing the accumulated debts owed by the commission to some ministries."

He explained that "Al-Kadhimi played a role in activating memoranda of understanding and signing other ministries with the ministries, as well as issuing uncles to all ministries to respond to the commission and fulfill its messages within three days as a maximum," indicating that "a group of committees was formed by order of the prime minister, including the Electoral Security Committee, which is a committee." It is very effective and includes all military bodies and security institutions, including the Peshmerga and the Popular Mobilization Forces. It started its work a long time ago and is visiting the governorates and organizing the security aspect of the elections in them, especially in remote areas. .
