The head of the Iraqi coalition, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed today, Friday, that the early elections are an important milestone for changing the equations.
Al-Hakim said during his speech on the occasion of the Iraqi Martyr's Day, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "early elections are an important stage for changing equations and citizens should actively participate in them by activating their biometric cards."
Al-Hakim added, "The October demonstrations raised true demands, and we warned of the repercussions of neglecting them. We stood from the beginning against the use of violence with the demonstrators," noting that "the classification and traitorous operations represent a deadly poison and a grave danger to all parties."
He pointed out that "the marginalization page involved everyone participating in decision-making, and that the time has come for everyone to agree on an inclusive national identity and a just modern state," stressing that "the return of terrorism cannot be accepted."
