Al-Kadhimi discuss the implementation of the ring road around Baghdad

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi chaired a meeting devoted to discussing the implementation of the Ring Road around Baghdad.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "during the meeting a comprehensive presentation of the route of the Ring Road and its design was presented, and Al- Kadhimi briefed in detail on the developmental importance of building this road and the services it will provide to citizens by keeping the capital's streets from passing trucks and absorbing it Traffic momentum, as well as the development of cities, surrounding and nearby areas. "
Al-Kadhimi explained, "The importance of this project is that it will create an economic stimulus with the urban activity it represents and the facilitation of transport and land connectivity," noting "the necessity to form a complete future vision for long-term solutions in strategic projects, and to address all gaps and obstacles facing their implementation, and take into account population growth and expansion the urban future of cities and their expansion.”
