Al-Najjar: 750 megawatts, the total power of the solar stations referred for investment

The National Investment Authority announced the approval of the Council of Ministers to refer seven solar-powered stations for investment in four Iraqi governorates, while revealing their production capacity.
The head of the National Investment Authority, Suha Al-Najjar, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the cabinet agreed to refer seven solar-powered stations for investment in the governorates of Muthanna, Wasit, Karbala and Babil."
Al-Najjar added, "The total energy of these stations is 750 megawatts," noting that "this step would contribute to providing clean electrical energy and reduce pressure on power stations that operate by other means, especially during the coming summer season."
