Salih: The region’s countries face a great responsibility

President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the need for joint efforts to holding on by the pillars of regional stability.
Salih received the Syrian ambassador to Iraq, Satam Jadaan Al-Dandah, according to a statement by the President Media Office that Iraqi News Agency (INA) received.
During the meeting, both have discussed the joint relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, which have close historical and social ties, and the importance of working to develop it in a way that serves the security, stability and interests of the two countries.
"The international community and the countries of the region are faced with a great responsibility in overcoming crises and tensions in the Middle East," said Salih.
He pointed to the necessity of joining efforts and creating joint dialogues to stabilize the pillars of regional stability, noting that the stability of the region is linked to the stability of Iraq and Syria, and to support cooperation and integration among the countries of the region.
