MOE discusses with the Head of IMN ant the the Board of Trustees supporting distance education

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Jaafar Alwanan, and its Chairman, Nabil Jassem, discussed today, Sunday, with the Minister of Education, Ali Hamid Al-Dulaimi, to support distance education.

A statement by the Ministry of Education, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Al-Dulaimi received the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Jaafar Al-Lonan, the Chairman of the Network, Nabil Jassim, and his accompanying delegation, and discussed ways to increase cooperation between the two parties."

He added, "The two sides discussed ways to develop aspects of media and technical cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Media Network, foremost of which is support for broadcasting the educational channel and providing a transport package for the continuation of distance education," stressing, "The ministry's support for free and independent media as a tool for building the state and consolidating its national constants."

In turn, the head of the Media Network expressed his "full readiness to constructive joint work with the ministry in order to achieve self-completion between the institutions of one state, in a way that serves the media and educational realities in the country."
