Al-Araji: The emergency crisis team came to impose the prestige of the state in Dhi Qar

The National Security Adviser, head of the emergency crisis team, Qasim Al-Araji, confirmed, today, Sunday, that the emergency crisis team did not come to storm a square or a gathering in Dhi Qar Governorate, but to impose law and the prestige of the state.

The media office of the National Security Adviser said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, head of the emergency crisis team, Qasim Al-Araji visited, today, Sunday, Dhi Qar University, and met the deans of the faculties and the teaching staff at the university," pointing out that "The deans and professors of Dhi Qar University expressed their happiness at visiting the emergency crisis team headed by Al-Araji, confirming their readiness to stand with the team in its national mission to restore normal conditions to Dhi Qar governorate and ward off sedition."

He added, "Al-Araji conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, and his instructions to meet university professors and involve them in solving the problems that occur in Dhi Qar, as Al-Araji secured a phone call between Al-Kadhimi and the president of Dhi Qar University."

According to the statement, Al-Araji noted that "the emergency crisis team did not come to storm a square or gathering, but came to restore normal conditions, enforce the law and the prestige of the state, and preserve the blood of our youth," noting that "there is a force from outside the governorate of two brigades from the Federal Police, which will help in maintaining security and stability in dear Dhi Qar.”
